Tonight I made, from scratch, for my husband and my stepfather, fried chicken and biscuits.
We didn't have the fixin's for mashed potatoes, so Jasmine rice it was.
It looks like it might have tasted good. (If you like chicken & biscuits)

I made myself a vegan version...the whole wheat biscuits were horrible, but the "chicken-fried" tofu was yummy.

My apologies for the boring food blogs lately, but I have become insanely fascinated with the culinary arts in recent months.
