I followed PPK rule of thumb on substituting oil for butter. I used 2/3 cup oil instead of butter. I also used non - vegan plain yogurt and added extra vanilla since it was plain. I used all whole wheat white flour since I didn't have coconut flour. I also used regular oats. And finally I used dried cranberries in place of cherries. Hmm.. I had to add about another cup of flour almost to make it a firmer dough. The taste is quite interesting. They are okay. I'm going to make them again tomorrow with more alterations and we'll see what will come of it. I'd love to try the coconut flour! Have to find it first argh! Tomorrow I'll use butter in place of the oil..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4886901506309063491.post-62950807365966897432008-09-12T10:57:00.000-07:002008-09-12T10:57:00.000-07:00is cherry chocolate oatmeal cookies legal?....and ...is cherry chocolate oatmeal cookies legal?....
and with coconut, that IS criminal....
(*hunger pang*)...barbara...https://www.blogger.com/profile/07084387224910367146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4886901506309063491.post-31216312215310778862008-09-12T09:06:00.000-07:002008-09-12T09:06:00.000-07:00Those look great!
