Our sweet queen Marci passed away last night. She will be dearly missed. As I look back on her life, she had a long and wonderful one. She lived with me in two different apartments in Long Beach, and with Dan and me in Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa and now Orange. Always spoiled, and always the queen of the castle. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.
I'm so so sorry for your loss Joni. I lost my first cat when I was 15, he'd been with me all my life. I still miss him, he taught me so much about being kind and compassionate. He'd also catch mice for me and throw them (DYING) in front of my feet so I'd praise him and feed him (it was very very yucky). I hope you're ok.
ReplyDeleteMay the cherished memories of, and experiences you had, with Marci, live on forever. You have my deepest sympathies.
ReplyDeleteJoni, I'm so sorry for your loss. Marci was a beautiful girl indeed.
ReplyDeleteAwww, Marci is one regal looking cat. She was definitely lucky to have such a happy home with great folks caring for her.
ReplyDeleteMy deepest symathies. I know how painful the loss of a pet can be.

ReplyDeleteThough I don't know the joys of having a pet, I know how much Marci means to you. I'm no good at comforting people, but I know you'll remember all the great times you both had together and Marci will always have a place in your heart. (:
